Technology
Bebergal, Peter. "The age of steampunk." Boston Globe 26 (2007).
- This article highlights how important technology is to the Steampunk artists and engineers. In fact, it's the most valued as a major part of this movement. For this reason we centered our game's story on attaining "technology", demonstrating the drive that steampunk engineers have for collecting parts and making creations.
Victorian Fashion
Gleason, Katherine, et al. Anatomy of Steampunk: the Fashion of Victorian Futurism. Race Point Publishing, 2013.
- We used this source to view the common colors used in Steampunk fashion and tried to incorporate those same colors on our board. We also looked for common shapes. The genre's focus on gears and other circular shapes influenced us to make our board symmetrical and almost circular while keeping a lot of movement for the players.

Tanenbaum J, Tanenbaum, K., & Wakkary, R. (may 05 - 10, 2012 ). Steampunk as design fiction. CHI '12 Proceedings of the SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 1583-1592. Retrieved October 11, 2017.
